Well, the vagabondo never showed, but at about 10:00 pm he called and told us that he couldn’t find the way to church. Did I ever mention him? Well, about a week ago, we were walking, and I just said hi to him, and he gave me a really big smile. Then as we were walking away he chased us down and asked us for a “Mormon Bible.” So we gave him a Book of Mormon and we talked to him for a while. He had some 60′s-ish ideas of life, but nevertheless, he was looking for truth. We tried to make an appointment, but he told us there were some bad vibes in his apartment. That was the last we saw of him. Then, on Tuesday night, he called us and said he wanted to meet us at church. The rest of the story you know. The thing about him is that he is a real bum. I just hope he can get his life together. I guess with our help and the Lord’s help he has a good chance. We also went back and saw the Polish girl, Teressa, and her two Czech friends. We gave them a Czech Bof M and a Polish B of M. They both said they would read them, but Teressa said it was stupid to pray and that she wouldn’t try it. Hopefully when she reads it she will be compelled to do so. She is a totally great person with some really great views on life. I have a strong feeling that someone in that room will one day join the church. It seemed like we were really guided to that hotel, and I know it was for a purpose. After that we went tracting and had absolutely no success. We couldn’t even get anyone to open a door. Everyone thought we were burglars or something. One guy was pretty cool. He told us he had people over for dinner, but maybe some other time he would answer our questions. He seemed really sincere. He also seemed kind of retarded – either that or he was just super mellowed out. We are going to go back. To top things off, I put all my garments and all my white shirts in with my black socks, and all my whites came out blue – catastrophe! But I bleached them and now they seem to be OK. Well, it is time for me to take a shower. Ciao!
